Very large beer garden, which is a little hidden in Sendling and attracts mainly Munich audiences. Traditional inn cuisine in the restaurant and classic delicacies in the beer garden invite you to linger under the trees. The service staff was on the ball, very friendly and always had a funny saying in store

Augustiner Schützengarten, we came across it purely by chance, huge beer garden, good food and of course delicious beer. Only parking spaces are a little tight.

Great food, typically Bavarian. Not overcrowded, more for locals. Food was at the table within a few minutes, the service was very polite and funny. Portions very large and simply tastes great.

We ate here with 8 people and I have to say that everyone was satisfied with their food, everything was delicious. A great atmosphere, great service, we'll be back.

We were invited to a big party with about 40 people. Service was underground, the company had to wait up to 45 minutes for their first drink and then about 30 minutes. That was not because of the waitress, she was hopelessly overwhelmed, maybe it was because of the bar, we puzzled. Loveless salad (every student can do this better) was served without dressing, the dressing came 20 minutes later. Since the guests didn't know this, most of them started to eat the salad only to find that the dressing was missing :-). Veggie burger was ok. The day was hot and sunny, it was not possible for the staff to provide sufficient shade. Conclusion: bad! I would only partially pay the bill.

Not the cheapest of all Munich beer gardens. Important information for the operator: guests feel more comfortable if they don't save on paper towels in the toilets! Very uncomfortable to have to go back to the court with wet hands.

A super cool beer garden in which you really feel comfortable. The food is great, it is poured very well. You sit very comfortably. The hygiene concept is implemented excellently. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The Schützengarten is an absolute recommendation.

Conclusion: an insider tip without a big tourist rush. Definitely worth a visit! Food: Tip you should definitely try Kaiserschmarrn here with stewed plums! Incredibly good buttery taste with roasted aromas from the pan. Price: € reasonable for Munich standards Restaurant: rustic restaurant with high ceilings and matching furnishings. There is also a terrace and a beer garden in the countryside. The feel-good factor is popular here! Service: attentive and friendly staff

Huge beer garden with a nice playground to the large parking lot and a garden restaurant and restaurant. We have been coming here for years and are always happy to come back. The food in the beer garden is not special, but you can safely take food with you. The food in the restaurant has always tasted good to us.

First class service. Very good kitchen. Everything mega professional, which you really appreciate when you think of many other restaurants in the area.

A good classical self-service beer garden. Lots of tables make social distancing possible. Beer is just the best, quick service and good atmosphere finish this nice picture. Cards are not accepted outside, but there is a solution in the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, with a very nice beer garden! The food was also excellent! There is "almost" nothing to complain about, except that the waiter looked a bit bored! Otherwise you can't go wrong here, go .. eat .. feel good .. period, off, done ?

Great place for a Feierabend Bier! Many tables, so everyone should get a place also with good weather. The Biergarten is a bit off the city center though, but worth the way.

Super nice beer garden, nice staff and good food. What more do you want? Despite the corona situation, everything is pretty well organized. At peak times there is even a "guide" who reports free tables with the cell phone to the colleague's ear at the entrance. Absolutely great :-) Keep it up! Hopefully soon again with full capacity :)

Outstanding service, best beer, and the pulled pork sandwich was perfect...not too much sauce, and meat was juicy.

Great. Clear recommendation. Kudos to the kitchen and service. Very good food and very good service. We also celebrated our wedding there three years ago, everything went well and we were given great advice and support. For us an important place where we always like to go out to eat and immediately fall back in thought of our dream wedding and very happy to remember the day back. Always my pleasure.

The old building makes the place more charming. The restaurant is pretty usual, definitely not the best Bavarian restaurant. Biergarten is beautiful and big, the playing yard for kids is good.

This is a great restaurant and very convenient to stop by without getting into the Munich traffic. We loved the beer garden!

What can happen to a "Berlin" group after a hard day better than a visit to the Schützengarten. Generous and originally created. Casual crowd with kids, and they also bring their own brunch and tablecloths. Unbelievable, unthinkable at home !! There are no discussions about drinks and the delicious food. Extremely friendly staff and even abandoned tables are cleared !! The interior of the Schützenhaus is worth seeing. S. pictures. The second visit on a Sunday, there was a nice treat for our group: a Bavarian brass band played in glorious blue white weather. What a day. Too bad that the ICE still needed 4-5 hours. Nevertheless, we will come back

Lovely traditional German restaurant & beer garden. Traditional food with great beer. English menus which was great. Had Schnitzel, as you do, which was very tasty.

A beautiful large biergarten located at the southwest of Munich city center that offers tasty bavarian food along with some extra interesting additions (e.g. sweet potato fries). Very nice atmosphere with good service and local Augustiner beer. Can accomodate from small groups to large ones without a problem.

This beer garden in South if the city center on the S7 line. They serve Augustiner beer, which is the best of the Munich beers. The atmosphere in this small beer garden is good. The food offering looked OK, but I did not eat anything. If this place is near by it is worth a visit, but it is not worth a special trip if you are tourist.

We had our business lunch there. The garden looks nice btw. We ordered the basic lunch deal. The portion were small and the service slow. You get 2 really thin slices of bread with a giant amount of cheese? We couldn’t switch the bread against a pretzel??? You can’t pay with card? Just over 20€.. overall we were more depressed going back to work than before.

Food is good but Why do the waiters have to be so rude?

For drinks the beer Garden is great, for food try the seating restaurant it is much better and I would comfortably say great food!!!

Here is a place for all Bavarian culinaric and leisure activities! You can have events or great food in the big hall with its bavarian restaurant. Or you stay outside with the huge park s great beergarden or children’s playground. Today I saw they have leaning chairs, under the huge pine trees. Be aware: shooting noise comes from the traditional Bavarian shooters that train inside the hall!
